Incredible how a project can 'grow'.
I started this LAD Leyland a few years ago. (a replica of a rig that used to roam the roads of NZ).

Your models are excellent, Fido. Thanks for posting all your pictures recently.

I have what may appear to be a silly question, but what is the cylinder on top of the Leyland cabs? In the first shot I saw (the fleet photo), I assumed it was a rolled up swag on top of the cab.

Great work, no wonder your mate bought one of the models. :)

Collector and admirer of ye olde crappe.  I'm interested in researching and collecting old numb

Cheers mate.
They mounted the air cleaners on the roof of these 2. (I presume there wasnt sufficient space to mount them anywhere else).
They sounded bloody awesome coming down the road. 8-)

Fido

As some older folk might remember from the Smily series of Aussie Movies - "I'm flabagasted".

Bloody incredible work.
