When they were just starting to make the movie, the motor in the main truck get VERY sick. It was replaced with a CAT. That is why the air cleaner on the main truck in the movie is a cat one.

Here is another beast based on the Tamiya King Hauler.
Just about everything was ever scratch built or converted on this one too. It has 2 X 3 speed gear boxes
