Impossible to tell, Rod, unless you were a real Scania or Scania-Vanis expert. That shape truck was made as a Scania-Vabis from 1944 to the late 1960s and then as a Scania for another couple of years. Take your pick!

I think they were sold here up to about 75 but as Vic said they spanned a few years ..... And could have also still been built in "third world" countries later than that

This looks like a standard model which was common in Australia. I can't read the label on the door of the modern generic in the distance.

I think the one in the background is a Volkswagon Truck.
Kenworth Australia used the same cab on Rigid Truck they sold as a K300....
