ABOUT ME

i dont want to "run" the kenworth product down .. but dont some people go in to buy a truck for the most horsepower and thats their main concern ..
give me a euro truck anyday maybe not as fast but their problems are usually sorted before you open your wallet
my old mercedes was a bit gutless (12.8litres for only 250hp)the only thing that killed it in the end was my habit of getting bored with the same truck lol

I can say one thing, Its a small world, I have seen both those trucks.

Worst luck they are only about 7km from me

and Aussie, I will say one thing I don't like cab overs, but at least you KW is not speed lim to 95 like the one's I drive out at Barny.

to paul, i have not got any issius with the cab over at all, mines quite in the cab, but makes a bit of noise when the horton kicks in, but they all do that, funny you say that about the gear stick, the gear stick in my old cab over use too rub on my left thigh, but this one dont, the only ''warrenty issue'' we have had with the truck was the dipstick was not calibrated when we took delivery of it, i thought kenworth would have picked that up in there pre delivery,
i am qutie happy with the k104b, it would be the best cab over kenworth i have driven

my cab over does a bit better than 95, only just, its smack bang on 100.

yes thats right they do make a bit more noise but the new ones are way louder. you will know when you hear them. ah kenworth pre deliverys they leave alot to be desired up here. our dipstick has been re-calibrated too.

i remember a few years ago, i done the thermostat on my horton fan. i rummaged around all the nuts and bolts i carry with me, found a bolt that fited the horton, bolted it up and made it a ridgid fan, well the noise it made, being constantly on was loud enough, that was in an old bonneted freightliner, with a cummins red head@525

yeah, the old scania is a great old truck, from memory she is a 460hp, but only has the 10speed box in her. very solid truck...
