yeah, the old scania is a great old truck, from memory she is a 460hp, but only has the 10speed box in her. very solid truck...

I think it would have been rated at 450hp though - I'm chasing info on the Centurion model with the 500hp EDC V8 engine in it! This is the truck in question:

I agree with you on the ride and drive quality! Got a mate with a R113M cabover, the same gen as the T143H tow truck you have here - the damn thing near spat me out the flippin' windscreen! I kinda forgot the cab had a four point airbag suspension system on it! 11 litre engine, 14 speed gearbox, airbag cab suspension and 6 rod drive suspension make for a smooth riding and hard working truck!

Caterpillar are quite good at not calibrating their engine oil dipsticks properly - and it's not just the on-highway engines either.... their MH engines are the same! Owners have to calibrate them after delivery!
