Yep R.C. modern U.S. trucks are a bit backwards :D
But they are very slowly being dragged into the modern world ;)

I could go on for hours but I wont other than to say my 93 Scania is more modern than most current U.S. trucks.

1 example is new Western Star has 3 switches on the dash to operate the wipers that look the same as and are in line with all the other switches so when needing to wipe the screen you must take eyes off road and scan for correct switch and then get correct switch while arm moves about over bumpy road >:(

I'm sure when more familiar with the truck the success rate at getting the correct switch improves but in my 21 year old Scania I just lower 1 finger while still holding the wheel and watching the road to flick the 1 stalk that does all jobs that 3 switches on the dash of the WS do :-?

Just to show fairness I do like the fact that a lot of US trucks have 7 inch round headlights that can be easily bought at the local shop and work grouse ;)

Debo! (now taking cover ;D)
