They are now allowing super B Doubles ie carting 2 x 40" boxes on the Melbourne freeways. Lets hope they have the right sort of nut holding the wheel.

ya ever seen the road trains running containers in around footsray road and coode road in Melbourne, they run at night, and only have long vehical signs on the front and back

they have special permit to run round the docks n Footscray Rd only as well as a few other big rigs of the same configureation
they also run any hour depending on work load n ships cargo to distribute

They are allowing them to run over a wider area now but more requirements eg ABS brakes and steering axles on the quad.
