Iv never seen a setup on an old truck however iv owned low rider utes with airbags all round and it wouldn't be too much to set something up to give you a nice smooth ride. If you are genuine there is airride suspension bayswater who are great plus I know a few places that do custom airbag set ups. I reckon a lot of the custom blokes would love to do a setup on a big banger old truck
Hi Swishy, Ive got a KW145 with a real short wheel base that i reckon will ride like a skate board when unloaded. cause it will be unloaded 50 percent of the time I am looking at a bit of driver comfort. There is also a kit for air ride for the cab, both my driver and I have shit backs from years of tank building, and am looking for an option to not pour myself out of the truck!
A few years ago Banlay fitted some to the Boral Macks. Not sure how they went though.
If you buy a Scania with Front airbags, roblem Solved.
The beauty of the Wabco set up is that you can icremently adjust the height with the key pad. Very handy in rough undulated ground and hooking up to trailers etc
