How hard to get the speed limiter increased?

While the speedo says it is doing 102, the GPS in the truck and my phone gps says 97 maximum..

RC, you can get it re calibrated by someone like Sgesco in Brisbane.
I've got a customer in Atherton with a heap of Fuso's who had exactly the same dilemma and that's just what he did.
Everything over 12,000 kg GVM has to be speed limited.

I have been driving a couple of company new hinos ( supposedly 280hp) ... For some reason my heavier 250hp cummins Acco is a lot faster on hills ... Can the 280hp be a lie ? Or just measured from midget horses ?

Could just be the difference between feeding your horses hay instead of rice.

Ours just goes flat out up hills or down valleys..

Took it up a 17% slope yesterday at Mt Morgan, about 2/3rd loaded... Powered up in 4th gear and had power to burn...

Hino's have EGR engines don't they? I never thought recirculating engine gases back through the engine was a good idea..
