Trying to locate the low air pressure warning buzzer because it don't buzz.

Truck is a 2001 Hino Fm 1j.

The warning light comes on but there is no sound. :(

Any info on how the system works or where the switch may be also ?

Thanks.

I could but it would take a heck of a lot of pulling apart stuff to see where it all goes.

The buzzer is possibly soldered onto the panel behind the instruments.
It should look something like this. demandware.edgesuite.net/aasr_prd/on/dem...ages/02730793_00.jpg

The switch would probably be on one of the tanks, or near the pedal valve. Following the airlines would be easier than trying to chase wires in a loom.

Buy a buzzer from Jaycar or Dick Smith and wire it in back to the switch.

In my GH, the buzzer sounds like it's to the left of the clutch pedal possibly behind the dash below the cup holder. Bloody noisy thing, I haven't got close enough to see exactly see where it is.
Mine is a bit hit and miss, seems to work most times but not all the time.

I think I have tracked it down to uder the dash panel on the left behind the fuses. It's metal about the diameter of a 50 cent piece about an inch deep.
Now I just got to get in there and test it out. If I can find the switch that activates it, i'll test it too.

It should be connected to the Low Air warning Light..

Yes but the light works and the buzzer dosen't. The buzzer will only sound if the maxi's are released, but mine does not. There has to be a switch in the park brake circut somewhere.

Are you talking about your Low Air warning Light? or your Park Brake Light?
