cat 3406

Hello all i am looking at a truck with a cat 3406B cat attac.Can anyone tell me what to look for with engine is it electronic manual injection ? thanks for your time regards john

Ataac stands for air to air after cooled............far as I know none of the B s had anything but mechanical injection.............early ones were P/C,later D/I................Cat also went to larger dia crank and bearings in the C series,which probably says something............I have seen the motors sell very cheap...like $500 for good goers............they dont fit any of the old crawlers ,so arent in demand............
