When you look at the size and weight of some of their fifth wheelers, they probably need that much power.

Should be fun unless they have traction control.
I have around 200HP/450-500 ft/b torque in the F350 weighing in at 3200 KG. Any heavy foot on wet roads and it will break loose at 70-80 K's in 9th gear.
All the Ford, Chev and Dodge are close to 1000 ft/lb of torque now. Must be a real mongrel on snowy, icy or wet roads, even good dry roads will need a gentle foot on take off.

I must be young at heart.

My yellow Pick Up weighs 1680KG and has a bit under 500 at the flywheel.

Yep lots of fun without Traction Control.

And I wouldn't swap it for any other car.

The Ford F-150 Raptor has a twin turbo V6 for 450hp.

But the insanity does not stop there. Both Ford and Dodge/Ram are offering a model with 700hp!

Did a job for a guy last week and he told me he had a 600hp Ram on order. Costa around $200,000 landed and registered.
