Now working on a 1969 Bedford, but this was my last project.
A tribute to 60’s custom car legend, Ed Roth, builder of may Show Cars and originator of the Rat Fink.

Changed the front telescopic shocks to friction shocks, as it cleans up the front end.

Made up a wooden frame/pizza boxes/mike crates/expanding foam/pool noodles etc.

Covered it in a vermiculite/plaster (70:30 ratio) mix.
Used the vermiculite to make it lighter, just plaster would weigh over a ton!

Shaped the plaster with a sureform file.
Covered in 3-layers of fiberglass

Turned it over & knocked all the rubbish
Finished the top/outside of the fiberglass

Top is 10mm thick skylight – lifts via 2 linear actuators
Made the rear light using clear resin with red dye
