Maybe it is only for straight-line trucking.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Seams to be a north American thing, I have asked before on the Mack truck forum as to why but never given what I would class as a answer that makes any sense

The ride is the only part of any of the answers provided that makes any sense at all

To me it will just make a useful truck pretty useless, but I dont live over there so it doesn't matter what I think

Hey Paul, maybe it has a shooting gallery inside haha!

Don’t think you can pull a very long trailer though.

Brocky Might have to chime in here.. !!

But I'm fairly sure, the length Limit over there only apply to Trailers. As apposed to our Overall length Limits..??

PS: That truck would be real handy on Macquarie Pass....

I read the big spread and many axles is a Massachusetts thing.

Apparently the land is pretty flat and they can carry twice the load on their trucks as other States due to axle loading being reduced.

I guess you would be restricted to operating in the one small State.

I fail to see any advantage in mounting the turntable behind the centre of the bogie.

That truck does NOT make any sense at all!!!!! Probably some moron with more money than common sense!!! Just a TOY show truck!!! About the only use I could see are the few guys who haul the new/rebuilt jet engines to airports and have to wait for the exchange engine to take back?????

Have to agree it is hard to make any sense of it, but saw another 2 similarly set up but not quite as long. Fifth wheel over or behind the rear axle. Looked like they were Pulling truck transporters with full enclosed trailers.
