Super single wheels on trailers was created by Miwi
I currently building some Australian spec trailers in 1/24 scale based on some European trailers. Here in Europe trailers with super single wheels are state of the art. In Europe we have either 40t or 44t max. gross weigth depending in which country they were used. All pictures that I saw of Australian or New Zealand spec trailers have 4 wheels per axle instead of 2 like in Europe. Do you use super singles on trailers? And if yes, on what kind of trailer configurations?
THanks for your help

They are about in Australia, seam to be mainly used lighter weight type of trailers, I see them on modern Visy, carting cardboard boxes in tautliners
Years ago on tri axle trailers it was 20 ton a tri super singles the same as a tri on dual wheels

Regularly see them, Finemores and Linfox mainly and as MrsMack states Visy trucks.

standardisation won through and while super singles were/are about they are very expensive. Expense is compounded by puncture risk which in the case of (tubeless) twins one of the two can run flat for quite a while whereas a single is likely to be wrecked before you get to it.
