Hi onetrack,
Following up on our line on CNG Vs LNG.
As I was saying that the LNG product is
600 nat gas to 1 lng at pressures up to
less than 230 psi and CNG is about 40%
ie., 240 nat gas to 1 LNG with cylinder
pressure at 3500 psi. The balance seems
to be with the vehicles' use with the space
available to mount gas containers and then
the distance to travel between fill ups.
LNG takes about the same time as does
normal diesel and CNG with a pod
of cylinders can take awhile as in buses being
connected to the fill system over nite . It is fair
to add ,that in this instance,a number of buses
that have finished their day and are filling at the
same time!!
