On my Industrial MkII it's on top of the chassis rail just under the injector pump.
....Right about where the picture shows that bit of angle iron has been welded on....
Maybe they moved it on the MkIII ? Hopefully ?
Grant.

G'day Fellas, While we are talking about Chambermaids, How do I make one stop a bit better I.E. 4280 and 4090 4x4 ??? I always found that the brake pedal was just for decoration....? What are the pit falls of these 2. Thanks Neil.

Hi Niel, I always thought the brakes were ok while going forward and were only non existant when backing up to the pig effluent dam with a linkage scooping device ,a neighbour also had his 4480 go backwards into a dam . Check you have brake fluid in the resevior. Both the 80 series and 90 series are good tractors but keep the universals between the gearboxes well greased as when these fail they knock off the hydrolic pump very hard to find now days or break the input shaft to the back end these are non existant as spare parts on the 90 series and cost about $3000 to have one made. All these Chamberlains are faily weak in the hydrolics I cannot lift a tonne with the front end loader on my 4490.The JD motors fitted to these like plenty of revs 2200 to 2500 more economical at that than 1600 and die quickly under 1600 rpm but at the high revs will pull as well as a modern tractor

Gudday Neil I have always found 80 series tractors to stop perfect for me going forwards or backwards the old C670 is a different story I think the same backend as 236 useless brakes had to plan ahead almost made it impossible to hookup 3 point linkage implements roll forward an inch back an inch hop on off bugger me made sure every thing was done before changing implement but they are a lot tougher than the 80 series just not as refined
