Swishy, it's a good thing you're down there. I could hug you! Since I can't, Pat will.
Could do with a bucket to begin with.
Any ideas as to engines, we're missing one. Pat said something about petrol start diesel.
Do you have any photos handy as would be interesting to know if we're talking the same size/models. I'll post a couple shortly.

LOL
Jaques were agents for the Yanky Lorain
we have carted quite a few of these as well over the years
Lorain TL22, L42, L51
Jaques here in Melbourne made Crushers n excavators
the J15 twaz about 10 ton in weight @ 8' wide n for memory powered by the everyday garden variety industrial Inters
Start on petrol----warm up a bit---- flick lever to run on diesel all day
a common donk on many Iner earthmoveing equipment
this pic is of either a 10rb or J15
I cart d afew years ago to the kokers house where he cut it up n went to scrap
If U get it runnin
My advice is to keep well clear of anything in radius of boom swing n have the engine stopper ready
Count all fingers B4 n after
LOL
1948 model 948 Jacques J-15 3/8 cubic yard excavator formerly owned by the Launceston City Council. At Pearn's Steam World, Westbury, Tasmania, Australia
