heirachy at Qld Museum hate old machinery,and would scrap it if they thought no one would notice....long list of once restored stuff lying derelict at Ipswich Workshops and rotting away..........they would much prefer to spend money on gay aboriginal womens issues,preferably massacred by whites,or big noting themselves with art auctioneers by paying stupid prices for junk.

What is the issue with keeping machinery? is it the on going expenditure to keep it in good nick or just that its not fashionable at the moment to keep dirty fuel consuming things?

I think its fashionable to be ashamed of our past and to hide and destroy anything that hints to possibly better times
