That one in the photo belonged to Blacktown Municipal Council. Now Blacktown City Council. I stenciled the plant number 04-01 on it in my very much younger days as a fitter there. It gave everyone nightmares, it had a mind of its own and do all types of weird things. It was driven down into the derelict yard and instructions were it was never to come back in the workshop. Where is it located now?

Definitely the same one, I can still see the BMC stencil on the back on the LHS and the plant number 04-01 on the RHS
Seems it has travelled a long way from home. The 04 indicates track machine, and the 01 indicates it was the 1st one. ( the only track machine at the time). A 20 ton Hitachi excavator replaced it.
