Hi Swishy ,Good on yah . But i hope you didn't scratch any paint off that potential rig of the month on the home ward bound trip . With your expertise with a camera i expect we will see a step by step restoration thread . we will have to get mike myers to join up here and give you helpfull 2ton advise , though EdB being on your team will be hard to beat as far as helpfull advise . and one track will be able to get you on track with all of his helpfull advise . . all the best with it mate . ian .

Swish, I hope you leave her in working clothes, a good match for the roller, crane truck and other working gear in your yard.... then all you will need is a cast iron plough seat rough welded on a leg to make her fit right in. :D

Swish, I have a seat, the type with cast frame although WA is not close. No aircleaner in your pics but rest looks good, even has top rollers which seemed to be discarded as can do without items, also I have a photocopied service manual and Caterpillar sales booklet for loan David.

The 2 Ton Model T 35 was a well built tractor and were still in use after the war. originally developed by Holt in 1923 they were rebadged by Caterpillar in 1925 following merger of Holt and Best. Motor has full pressure lubrication with oil pump outside and overhead camshaft & hemi head, and separate block. 41/2 in bore 5in stroke 1000 rpm 25HP.
Caterpillar brought out their own models Ten and Fifteen in 1928 and 1929.
