Unidentified tractor

I was running the unknown tractor in circles around the back paddock yesterday,and the thought struck me "wonder how many more times Ill be doing this?"The scumbag council have out a 200mm/8in height on the grass,which is ridiculuos ,cause it grows so fast.............anyway,the 12 month order they put on me has expired,so the nazis cant just fine me.....its back to 14 days notice,again......but back to the paddock.....how much longer will I last?.....Just about every phone call I get is about someone or other has died at 70 ....I m that old now,was hoping to match the old guy next door ,still active at 100...Looks like the Chamberlain will outlast me...maybe even the slasher ....even tho its 2/3 rusted away.

Who knows how long anyone will be still active and doing things? At the age of 75 I am finding everything (even picking something up from ground level) is much more difficult than it used to be. I find it almost impossible to work on cars now but last week I sent a starter for a 1929 Chev. to a man who tells me he is in his mid 80's and needs it for the Chev he still drives . He still works part time driving trucks for his Son. 80 plus y/o is just finishing restoration of a Hillman Imp and they don't come much smaller than that!
