Fiat 513r was created by Anonymous
Hi. Does anyone own a Fiat 513r and would be able to take some detailed pictures of the hydraulic area around the seat. Particularly where the levers are on the right side. Have an old manual for it but terribly printed. Just bought an old one and hydraulics not working on three point linkage. Think there has been a lever snapped of maybe. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt.

I have a manual on disc. I will try to find a suitable page.
Failing that, my next door neighbour has an old 913R slasher and I will wander over to get you some photos. I have to sit on it to slash his 10 acres regularly in exchange for him allowing me unfettered access through the paddock to get to my back shed.
Stand by.

The first place I would look is the hydraulic oil filter

I don't know how much you have used them but it seems some people have problems with the FIAT hydraulics getting all their ducks in a row. There are several combinations of positions on various levers including floating/position and draft control which tosses a few people and can bend the mounts on a slasher if in the wrong position.
You could well have a problem but if you want the operation section out of the above manual let me know.

If you feel that Fiat have issues with the 3 pl system try a David brown 990 or a Selectamatic. I have never seen so many questions on how to get them to work properly.

Fiats are very simple to use
If you have no hydraulics in the 3pl check the filter on the side of the motor were the hydraulic pump is
This is a suction filter so it doesn't take much blockage to cause problems
