Hello,
Radiator is out...finally.
Ended up taking the front metal work off as suggested. Thanks.
I’ll probably get the hydraulic radiator checked while I’m at it.
The two rubber cushions where the radiator sits on the chassis looks knackered. What do you suggest about replacing these.
The whole area looks like it needs a good clean.
I’m taking the lot of to a workshop to disassemble and fix. I haven’t managed to separate the uni joints but I think they are seized only spinning as an axel from the pump.
Let me know you thoughts.
Scott

i'd try something like this for the rubber mounts.

Along with Hayseeds suggestion Mackay do a lot of mounts.
Without seeing what came off the early 80's Landcruisers had a small puck type mounting.

I seem to remember that the mounts are along this style of mount

However I would unbolt what is left and take the bits to any good bearing supply place

Hello all,
The radiator has been refurbished with a new core. Local guy in Warners Bay - $1200. It's been in for a few day and going great. Thanks for all your help.
Regards
Sanctuary PS I have video of it but it's too big to upload onto the forum.

Funny,I just dragged the remains of one of those Chamberlains out of the grass last week ,and was tossing up whether to go into the bin or not .........built incredibly heavy ,and seems still in good nick despite living in the weeds for 30 odd years......Anyhoo ,its got to go ,Im past saving stuff on the off chance.

Hi JohnK
If it’s the same at mine, I might be interested in it for spares. What are planning on doing with it? Mine has the 212 Perkins, mk3.
