Thank you for answering.

Another question; what benefit is there in making it a tricycle rather than a 4 wheeler?

The bigger and wider the tyre gives a bigger foot print which means less ground compaction.
We sold Agricultural tyres on a special order for some trailers that were heading up to the cane fields. We were told it was very boggy ground and hilly so required these special floatation tyres bought in from Nokia. The machine weighed in aroun 2 tons and on 4 tyres had a foot print weight that you could safely drive the machine over your bare foot.

In real Boggy Ground with 2 Wheels following each other quite often the First one will break the Crust(for want of a better word) & the one following will fall through into the bog. whereas with this machine All wheels have different Tracks making it a lot harder to Bog..

You can see why the carrot picker s got three wheels .......it would run over all the carrots if it had four.
