Yes 600 Dodge, no safety gear, pair of greens and a bush hat!
No seat belts.
Even the tar crew - look at the gear used now!

Dozer in middle left.../.. is it a TD 15B?.......The compressor in the middle is a IR 250 Gyro-Flo .......the rusty wreck at Willawong may be the same one .

Yes John. D8's in same photo being stripped to float out to the rail siding
to go back to Brisbane at the end of the job. Brambles did the job with a
B61 and Flintstone. Sorry, no camera that day.
Diamond T and P&H crane drivers given 3 days to cruise back there.
Rest of us in Inters and Land Rovers had 2 days in convoy.
