Hey, Guys.
Seeing as this topic is about TURNER engines, thought I would throw this up.
Book is called "The Modern Diesel"...1959, (Book had been published yearly since 1932, I only have the 1936 and this 1959 ones).
Don't know just how readable the text is, so copying from book:-
Twin cylinder, two stroke with Rootes type blower,
92mm X 105mm bore X stroke...........1395cc 35bhp @ 2800rpm
Goes on to say also a V4 and a V6 of Austrian make under licence, but doesn't give any specs.

P.S. Interesting that primarily an English book, many well known Euro and U.S . engines listed.
Sadly about 75-80% of these engine maufacturers no longer around.

For the asking price, provided all parts are there and restorable, it is reasonable. I have seen restored ones sell for $25,000.There was one for sale in TOMM magazine for around $5000 unrestored that had just been sold when I rang up to buy it and that was within half an hour of receiving the magazine. I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't end up back in England.
