There is a rather large Blackstone engine that attends both the Clarendon Classic and the Campbelltown Steam rallies. Its an 8 cylinder and is permannnnently bolted down on a float. It hasa seperate Engine that drives a air compressor to make 250psi for the air start. He certainly gathers a crowd at start up times.

I would think wear would be a real issue with the flat track wheel where all the rods joined up, a little like the monster in Mildura.

That's Big Lizzie at White Vliffs n yes it's big. Those tracks are ingenious in design.
