Is that thrash on the radiator of the J.D? Must get hot.
That was a good thing with the old bulldogs, you could idle right down, kick them to run back to front to blow all the cobwebs out of the radiator.

A few of our members have Bulldogs. There are 2 of them that travel together pretty regularly. A few years ago, they fired both of them up on the trailer, cause it takes a bit of mucking about to get them going, ran one off, in the mean time, the other one shook itself off the trailer sideways.

Bit of an update with the fergy, lifted the head, pistons in 2 & 3 are seized solid in the bore, (with huntsmans and wasps) placed a piece of hardwood on top of #4 piston, whacked it a couple of times to see if the pistons would free up, #2 & #3 pistons started to raise...with the liners attached, that solves how im getting them out of the block anyway ;D

Rebuild kit, hear we come....

I love the old grey fergies. I remember when I was a kid holidaying on my uncle's farm ... Uncle used to drive the tractor and I would be sitting astride the bonnet like a horse! Great fun then! :) :)
