There is a genuine White one with a canopy on it in pristine condition that goes to the Rusty Iron Rally each year. He is the original owner.

They were all built on weekends so as not to interupt the normal Falcon production.John D wrote: I think there was about 400 to 450 built in Brisbane by Ford and if my memory serves me right a company named Shute Upton Engineering was involved as they had assembled Jeeps for Willys Australia from the late fifties until the sevenities. BIDSTBC by someone with a better memory. Regards John

I don't know the detail so can't comment on the above. However I did do a test drive in one of them in early 70s (in my SECV days at Rubicon) for 1/2 day. For our specific requirements they weren't a great deal better than the Willy's Jeeps and Landcruiser's that we were starting to see (ie petrol guzzling sixes, 3 speeders) and we weren't sure how they would stand up to the rough tracks without a full chassis. At the time we were wearing out suspension parts on all but the older Inter's in a very quick time. I thought that Ford decided to only release them in Qld where they were supposedly a hit with cane-farmers erc? But I could be wrong.
