I started typing out same sort of reply yesterday Sarge but was to slow as normal, must be the cold winter mornings

Only thing missing I know of is GA on older IH equipment built in Geelong
Short for Geelong Australia
I think this must have stopped in the 50's some time

The engine will be an AD 269,as also fitted to wheel tractors......being a later one ,it will likely have a CAV DPA injector pump ,rather than the inline BPE4 CAV,and special injectors with the top part of the swirl chamber.........Notorious for cracked heads ,blued bearings and broken cranks.......the trannys are commonly found with broken gears ,and the final drives are only ball bearing ,and fail quickly after bearings fall to pieces .......in short ...it aint no Caterpillar

Just to confuse thing a little, when I was on back hoes and excavators there was a DROTT rubber tyred excavator getting around Sydney. One of the most unstable machines I ever saw even with stabilizing legs on each corner.
