That timber looks tidy, are you going to use ply for the roof as well

No, hopefully I will be able to use the original steel bows and make an original suspended roof lining.

At the moment I am trying to work out how/where the roof lining comes down at the back of the cab and whether I need to run the ply around the corners and under the back window

I have added some timber ribs to the inside rear cab roof either side of the rear window

And fitted up some ply. I will remove the screws once the Sikaflex has fully cured

Ah,
I'm vacuuming up ideas for my Japanese cab and a half "some day gunna build" ute.
Good photo's back interior (I want that 1/4 window).

Just in passing though, what's in the space below your parcel shelf?

I think this thread is getting hijacked away from its original intent. I can't find my original thread so I will post up a new thread.

That isn't the chassis number. ISTBC, but it should read something like: AL110 XXX. It should be on the outside of the left chassis rail at the front, somewhere between the spring hanger and above the axle. It is somethimes half rusted off..
I haven't seen that symbol before. I wonder what it means?

Hope this helps.
