How about a 60 series Landruiser? If you could buy a rusted out runner with a small block, 5 speed and power steering most of the hard work is done.
Has anyone re cabbed one? Cheers Ross

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Toggle, I've got a couple of Holden utes, an AR 110 and a Dodge at Acacia Ridge that you are welcome to measure if you like.
The Holden chassis works well under the AR/AL/AS Inter cabs.
Dunno about the later Inter/Dodge cabs.
You could just buy a C1100 and put a V8 in it.
They come from the factory with 4 wheel discs, but no hand brake on the back axle.

I saw an at4 dodge at chopped last year. It had the original chassis with an xj6 jaguar front end with a valiant diff with the diff sitting on top of the springs. It sat really good and fitted really nice. If I were ever to build another little inter/ dodge ute it would be how I would go. The original chassis are straight and easy to mount stuff off as where a hq-z or f 100 are all twisted all over the place and to get it engineered it would be a rebodied hq or f 100 and more work than a front and rear end end swap. my 2 cents anyway good luck

Hilux chassis may be an option.
Be a better ride and easier to source parts than a F100 chassis.

Here's a couple from Greazefest. The blue one has the Dodge chassis under it, Toyota Dyna Axles and an LS1 Chev.

This one is laso on a later chassis, not sure if it was Chev or Ford.
