Sratcha, you've got a very bad case of old truck disease, Bad news is there is no cure and its terminal (we all die eventually). The good news is that you can learn to live with it as long as you keep buying more trucks  :silly:

Hi Scratcher,
I saw you going past my house about a week ago- you were still smiling
I think you should start on another truck so you can double your driving days
PS. I didn't know that elephants grew that big!
Cheers Fill

Well , after a short day at Yarra glen (got there about 8:45 ) with a bloody virus, wandered around like a zombie for 3 hours and called it quits.
I missed all my mates from about the joint by an hour I recon (Fill is the exception there)
I wobbled on home.
Ran it to work today as it had a vibration in the rear I thought might have been a unit joint, turns out the pinion bearing has let go, it'll need a full rebuild, i recon i might drop the ratio a bit.
Shes got a BA falcon bum in her, ill chase up a taxi repaired for the bits and advice i recon.
Good weather is here, always the way isnt it.
To add the the list, ive got a clutch to do in a VW golf, and the turbo has let go on the young blokes great wall.....and its hay season!
If i rebuild her, Ill take some piccis....but be warned, no special tools in my shed

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

I saw your Beddy at Yarra Glen Scratcha, she looks great. I like the way you've done the mods to make it into a usable vehicle but still looks like an old banger.
Cheers Peter

Thanks Peter, it evolved into what it is now. I amost sold it to buy a benz that was advertised here but the benz went before mine sold so shes staying a bit longer.
During the diff rebuild it'll get shockies fitted and hopefully a different (and quieter) exhaust.

What a great resto. Credit to you. Can you elaborate a bit on how you fitted the XG hubs on the Bedford front end?
