80 kph will be plenty for the old Beddie as the brakes/suspension/driveline/steering were all designed for less and you don't want a calamity to indicate where the limits are.

A bit more work done, pulled the steering wheel off the shaft, removed it and the box, cab is ready to lift off....

had to make a "special" tool for the job

Ok, nobody wanted the original engine/ box assembly on here, so I gave it to ACW bedford ,better than going to scrap too! I have purchased the above gear for the little banger, 202 holden & 5 speed celica box, this should give me a reasonable road speed. Looks the part too ;D

not too much else done, been on holidays to sunny QLD.

What's wrong with a socket?? Well, I dunno about anyone else, but in my experience, a socket doesn't fit large completely round fasteners!!

I neved said i was a butcher!, they clean up after em selves!

I call it gettin it done! ;D ;D ;D

Jeez youd get the sh!ts with me HT bolt taps (cut a couple of lines with the hack saw to clean the threads) or the arc welder panel welding, aero start tyre bead seating technique .......

My best one saved a 650 million dollar contract.....true story but not for print ;)
