Sons projects
Enough parts to make 2 complete trucks and one cab left over.
The blue reo is the first one to be completed as it's the best cab and chassis of the lot. 471 detroit
Red Reo has good running gear but chassis is knackered -Perkins diesel
Blue Diamond T, nicknamed 'swamp thing', as it was literally rescued from a watery grave has decent cab and chassis but not much else.

Hi guys, Swamp Thing was a piece of art in a guys back yard where he thought it looked good, but luckily we managed to talk him in to letting us have it (for a small fee) as he could see it was really too good to let it rot away (he,s not really in to old trucks just old stuff in general),its basically still in good shape considering every winter for the last 4 years the water level was just over hub high, chassis rails still extremely good as is the cab, most diff/axle stuff is pretty well toast it had no motor /box and is only missing 1 of the "T" only grille bars, think it was petrol looking at the radiator,Colin has a heap of photos just on the recovery of this thing ,it was major job as trees etc had all grown around the place where it was originally pushed thru , Amazingly the rear wheels all turned, fronts not so much,No we could not talk him in to letting us have the old bowser,Colin has done all of the work stripping/welding/painting etc on the other 1 and it looks half a million dollars better already considering i thought this 1 would have been a lost cause as it has sat in the one spot for at least 20 yrs with the tip body half up and no glass but remarkably good chassis/cab/and 4.71 looks spotless under rocker cover although injector racks have Jammed/seized but motor still turns, interestingly it has a Mack "tetrapoid"(i think) g/box which is smallish and looks ancient? This belonged to NLG sands here in Perth. , the Red Reo we dont know much history of ,it is perkins/10spd with the wedge type air brake system the others all having vacuum brakes, the chassis is absolutely knackered the GROWING has split it in some places. I picked up a rare glove box manual for Colin at a local swap meet packed full of info from a guy who owned 15 i think he said at 1 stage in /around 1967,Cheers John
