Hi All,
New here and hoping to connect with those here who have or are restoring the above truck.
I've searched the forum and have found bits and bobs regarding the above truck however i thought it might help to centralise the topic by starting a new topic.
So if those on here have got some valuable lessons learnt, contacts, thoughts or suggestions please let me know.
I'll post some pics soon of the green tipper.
Cheers
Paul

Thanks Dave!
I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into this project as its my first.
My grandfather had a J3 as a brick delivery truck so it will be great to honour its history.
I also look forward to engaging with those who have great knowledge and experience!!
Cheers

Hi Pauliey and welcome, I have some great tips like how to paint over Winter (see FILLS BEDFORD in forum) might have to go back a page or so under (restoration chat)
Were do you live because the HCVC club has a full set of manuals they meet once a month in club rooms at Boronia Vic.
The HCVC has face book also,I do not know if you have to be a club member
Cheers Fill

Gday Pauliey, Fill has done a ripping job on his J, credit to him.
ACW bedford in bayswater vic have digital copies for sale.
my experience, dont run em on premium unleaded, fouled up my plugs on mine .
you dont have to be financial to be on the facebook site. its same same but different to here.
I love both mediums,
Stick up some photos or email them to me and i will if you find it difficult (we all did at some time )

Wow!!
Thanks for the offers of help!!
Yes I did see the winter painting Fill and I've already started clearing out the spare room!!! :woohoo:
I should at some point down the track travel down the highway to boronia for a club get together. I'm in Tallarook.
Colin the truck is going and am about to replace all plugs & leads. I'm also thinking the distributor and fuel filter may need a touch up, your thoughts on this!
Thanks for the tip scratcha on the fuel - what are you running yours on now? I'll look into ACW for the manuals also.
I'll also jump on the crackbook page.
Thanks again for the prompt responses and I'll
