Cab is not closed, my old dear had a closed cab and i was told it came from Adelaide, does not mean it is not it though, have not seen that image before, many thanks for the input.

There is one more photo yet cant remember where it was but it was a green one, that is probably the color I will go for, the only one I had not seen was the truck with the load of wool Bourke to Sydney, that was a ripper.

I think 25 1/2 hours Bourke to Sydney back in the day was a fast trip.
Even today with sealed roads and modern vehicles very few people would do that trip in less than 10 hours driving.
Most impressive.

Especially taking into account, not only have trucks improved, but the roads are better and shorter distance, and less gradients and curves.

Hi - I'm wondering if you'd possibly know the source of the photograph of the speedwagon - bourke to Sydney? I'm trying to help my Aunty with family research and the driver in this photo is her grandfather. Is it in a book, or maybe on display somewhere at Bourke?
