The 1955 Fargo was for sale in Dubbo. It was close, the price was right and my son, John said to me "You are running out of rusty iron to clean up so you ought to buy it".

He was right all the rusty chassis and suspension parts of the Benz have been sanded back to bare metal. Only the cabin is left to do and that is his department.

The first photo was taken outside the sellers house.
We have made a start by taking the tray off.

Some progress pics on the 'Tidy up' of the Fargo. We have taken out all the chassis cross members from the cab back.

The chassis has been painted black and the cross members and spring hangers refitted.
