Just about to start the build on this
Be great to here from anyone who has done a similiar truck
Hoping that we dont come across parts that need replacing but no longer available.
Its a long road ahead but we'll just take outime and hope foe the best.
Cheers

The side valve is a straight forward change to overhead valve using Humber Hawk engine or parts therefrom. If you look at the later engine you will notice how they actually used the old flathead engine as the base.
OR
Just bolt in the replacement OHV unit complete. A good little engine and very reliable.

no turning back now
Even if the tray is buggered a lot of people save whats left and use it as a template when making a fresh one or even just cutting a few extra bits of wood
You might be surprised at how good the chassis is after a good pressure wash

I'm not to worried about the tray as I'm a carpenter by trade ans we'll come up with something very nice
The chassis passenger side at rear is very bad and has me concerned
Cross member and part of main rail shot
Couldn't see all that dur to an old timber toolbob build behind the spare wheel carrier and the tray on top
Fingers crossed I'm aloud to repair it and not have to fine a whole ne chassis
If that was the case I'd go to plane be and put the cab on a one tonner maybe
But that would be a shame as the engine purrs like a kitten
