v8 into d1310 inter

gday ,just wondering if anyone has fitted a small block chrysler into d1310 inter.Are new engine mounts & other parts needed for conversion ?the engine is from a bigger dodge with 5 speed

You would be better off with a Dodge chassis......and just fit your Inter cab......the Inter will need a crossmember removed and replaced with a modified one...Note that a V8 Inter motor wont fit straight in either,unless the truck was really late,after the 6 was discontinued.

When we were running 5 Series Dodges on o/nite, one of the drivers wrote one off, and the mechanic put the 383 out of it into one of the smaller Inters that we had on papers. It only took him a day from memory. It was quite a rocketship.
