G,day lads,
The time has come for me to put a new core in my radiator.
1975 k125 with shutters.aluminium tanks, cummins.my local bloke gave me a list of dimsnsions for standard kw models, but nothing matches my dimensions, i dont think it is my chinese tape measure.
Has anyone replaced one lately, that can share, say natrad part #? For example?.
I imagine they should be a standard size, any imput is welcomed,

Thankyou

As a side note, someone told me early 900 series was the same size. I dont know how much truth there is to it

here is a "did you know"......any copper radiator core that has had chromate (the old green inhibitor sold by Cummins) in it turns to crumble as the chromate concentration reduces....Seein as chromate is banned ,this means any old radiator core that has been dry for years may self destruct a few months after water is put into it........All the radiator guys know about this, but not many others............

Pete I've got one, (a core) but the measurements seem slightly different? and to be honest, looking at it, I don't think you'd use it unless you were desperate..
I replaced it only as I got a new core from an old mate who had a new one sitting in his shd for many years... Then I found the top tank was stuffed, and so on..
Let me know if you get really stuck, and we'll get some pics and compare eh?
Cheers
Richard
