Hey guys, I'm back  LOL.
The C1 is no longer for sale and I'm hoping to recommence work on it soon.
In June there was an extreme storm in Vic. and 3 big ghost gums fell on my property, unfortunately 2 of them landed in my bedroom. Fortunately they missed me and I was uninjured. B) Long story short, I advertised some of my toys and some sold, but the C1 didn't. I'm kind of busy with the chainsaw ATM, but will be doing a bit on the ute soon. B)

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

The previous owner sent me a pic of the C1 when he bought it in the early 90’s.

I have now finished cleaning up the fallen trees from the storm and my woodshed looks fantastic, the house not so much, don’t you just love insurance companies? Today was the first time I’ve done anything on the ute for 6 months and it’s great to be back into it. I fitted the windscreen in June and have since noticed that the hinge isn’t waterproofed, so today it came out again and I’ve made a cover to slow down the water leaks.

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

I doubt it ever was really water proof, as long as it slows it a little bit

And yes insurance companies can be a challenge, they love taking your hard earned but it seams to take for ever to get things sorted

Most insurance companies aaaaaare bad but the worse pollicy seems to be house insurance. If there was a bush fire with in 10 kilometers of your home you are a fire risk, if your postcode had suffered a flood then you are in a flood zone. If our house ever got flooded then the rest of Australia would be in trouble as we are well and truly high and dry.
So because these companies had to actually pay out for some claims the cost of that type of policy rises and by quite a lot so the shareholders dont get angry about their investment.

The wiper motor was reconditioned by the previous owner which was a huge surprise, it looks better now as I’ve removed the black paint it was painted with.

And a new wiper arm and blade in stainless steel which is readily available from old Ford car parts companies.
