Thanks to all who replied and explained it in plain English with pictures. The pics really made it clear as to how it all works. As for tearing arms out of shoulders I don't need any help there, 10 years of using a hammer drill into brickwork has stuffed both shoulders and after 2 ops on the left side it is still stuffed.
