Hi all
Wondering if someone knows where i might get a cabin lift pump to replace my original one.
I have taken apart but think it is too worn to repair and was wondering about after market options

The one off my Atkinson was pretty shagged but I managed to repair and get it back together. Mind you I haven't used it yet so not 100% sure it is OK. Yours may still be worthwhile trying to repair.

I cant see it being hard to repair.........at the very worst ,a few new packings and seals.......not as tho the cylinders would be worn out from use, even if you tilted the cab once a day.......I used to repair tele hoists been lubricated with sand.,and used on twisted bodies.......if you use a different pump ,you ll be up for hoses and fittings ,which aint cheap.

Not sure where I heard it but one off a cab over kenworth ( air operated ) will fit with minimal effort, plus the bonus of air ... press the button

Ive yet to see one couldnt be fixed by replacing the packings or a leather bucket in the cylinder.leather will tolerate rough surface from rust.

If you strike trouble, take it to one of the repairers who fix htdraulic jacks, trolley jacks and portapowers.....they have usually got the packings and buckets, and usually have a small honing machine to clean up the cylinders if needed.

If you need any hydraulic seals or any odball seals try Metric Seals in Bayswater Vic.
