Restoring single drive prime mover and wondering if anyone can help me with build date and info on original specs. Also need;
1. Paint colour information on beige used to colour dashboard, grille and sunvisor.
2. Lead on front wheel seals which are an aluminium disc body with felt type cord in recess on edge.
3. Information on what type of twilight would be period.

Will post a few photos when I learn to drive this machine. Are at a stage where chass is painted and cab is being prepped...thanks

I dont believe these trucks would of had very much more than just a couple of red only tail lights and a number plate light when new
Indicators I dont think were fitted when new , they may have been by the time they finished the production run

I reckon something like this would have been close

I'd take a stab at 1965, maybe early 1966.

Perkins 6.354 Diesel engine.
Most likely 153" wheelbase for prime mover.
GVM 24500 lbs.
GCM 43500 lbs.
1965 list price when fitted with 9.00x20 - 12 ply tyres was 2948 Pounds.

With the seal, take it to a bearing shop and get them to measure it up and cross reference it to a new style and better seal. This is what I do when I am restoring our tractors and Lorry the truck.
