Well I can't sit and do nothing, well, until it gets too bloody hot like now outside. So yesterday I climbed up and disconnected the top clearance lights and unbolted the harwood timber board to make it look as if it was loved again. Initially I used a marine grade clear and I thinned the first coat then over the next couple of days I nscuffed it and recoated it. OIT was good for a few years then it looked shitty again so I went over it again but I must have been lazy and not prepared it right as it sheets off in places. So I took it back to bare naked timber again and re-started. As of now there is 2 coats on with a good scuffing up inbetween and tomorro it will go through the same proceedure and this will be properly sealed and then ready to go back up in place. I will put a couple of pics up tomorrow and then once it is all back together.

Finished and back in place with both LED lights working. What looks like a bench seat for mongrel grand kids is actually for out gazebo to sit on and be strapped onto when going to a rally.

It's a heavy lump of hardwood too. I think it helps to keep the tray on the chassis.

The whole back board needs cleaning up properly as it does not look good with rusty thick pant all over it and the same for those 2 small gates on the sides. I just need to talk to the sand blaster about cleaning that up then attacking it and bring it back to life.
