Austin K2 Waterpump

I'am trying to restore a 1948 Austin K2 4litre truck and need a waterpump or someone that can rebuild my old pump. Also looking for a fuel pump kit. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Gudday and welcom Arthur, I am thinking this water pump is typical of its time with bakerlite and felt friction seals, spring and a sealed bearing shaft... my local "Bearing, Seals, Filters and stuff joint" had a selction of universal seals and shafts, I had to get a mate to shorten the drive shaft and machine a step into it for my beddy.... good as new, easy done and apart from the slab, about $40. Show them yours and they will show you theirs type routine....

try looking in restored cars mag they list water pump recon, places, my brother may have a 4 liter pump, old one, as hes trying to restore an austin k2y ambulance ( he needs the rear body) thats 3.5 so its no good to him.

but check the type I got one for the 3 1/2 l. Austin.
