A truck with a boring rig on it would be a welcome change from all the empty tray trucks at shows. Many years ago, I bought a hand-operated tow truck hoist to put on my Tandem Drive Morris, so I could avoid having a tray and also show off the earliest version of a fully floating, load sharing bogie ever available. I might still get around to fitting it some day.
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

600Dodge/ Morris-
yeah bit of a shame I’ve got no room as it would have been a great partner for my K model which was first purchased & used by a Windmill Repair / Service guy near Gawler in SA. ;)
600Dodge- is there a photo of it you can put up here?

Cheers

Oh wow! Nice looking unit - would have been much better than building what I am dong with B for. :pinch:

Use your test light on the ignition to see what connections are live when the ignition is turned off Pierre . . . it might help uncover where the issue is coming from.

I will let the experts tell you the real difference but one of them has wheels made of unobtainium.... and i think one is a light weight and the other a medium weight and the O was the big brother/sister. I think it is the K with the odd / hard to find wheels....

Correct Sarge :-x, also (and not from an expert I might add) K and M types have a long nose with engine in front of windows, whereas O type has the engine set back with only four of the six cylinders in front of the windows.

That Bedford looks magnificent. It looks like all it needs is washing the dust off and driving to a rally or display day. I wish I could have it but I have too many trucks already and feel guilty about storing them in my Mate's shed.

PDUIf there are only four of the six cylinders in front of the windscreen, does that mean that if it has a major blow-up, instead of putting a Leg Out Of Bed it would put a leg out the window?:woohoo:  :woohoo:

Thanks PDU - The test light on the ignition switch only showed the centre IGN Terminal & A Terminal as LIVE with key in OFF position.
Wouldn't that be expected?

Anyways, I've got the other switch testing OK now, so I'm going to swap them over again.

Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase spark plug leads with the screw in terminals at the distributor cap end?
Tried most of the usual suspects.
Or is it possible to purchase a new distributor cap with the newer style push in connectors to fit the existing distributor?

stumbling from one issue to another at the moment guys.

Sarge :- X - Your right, I've managed to collect 2 spare unobtainable wheels! ;)

cheers
