Used a Chrome Mirror marker pen for the reflectors on the sidelights.

Might run the white lenses, as they match some of the white on the truck.
But the clear ones do look chrisp.

Agreed, Grumpy & Zuffen, clear is the way to go.

Made those white ones ages ago, thinking it might work, oh well minimal cost, minimal loss.

Well start up didn’t go well.

Dizzy was 180 degrees out & lifters not pumping.

No oil at the rockers, will pull the oil pump and try to figure out what’s going on.

Partially fill  the pump with oily vasoline.  It helps with the priming. Especially if the engine is going to stand dry for a while

Yep, as Jon mentioned, pack the oil pump with grease, then wind it over with the plugs out

And yes clear lenses would probably be the go

180° out on the dizzy is pretty common mistake in my experience
